| Tuesday: Eastridge wins in Double Overtime |
| May 4, 2010 - There were fifteen games played today in Section Five, a couple of close ones but mostly mismatches. Eastridge won their first game of the season using double overtime to defeat the Thunder 11-10. East Rochester beat Newark 8-7. All the other games were won by six goals. Full Report |

| April30 2010 - After 2-2 first and second quarters, Waterloo scored three unanswered goals in the third of their way to a 10-5 win over visiting Newark. Full Report |

| Thursday: Penn Yan over Aquinas 14-6 |
| April 29, 2010 - Penn Yan, currently ranked first in the SportsFive Class C list and Aquinas, currently ranked second played tonight at Aquinas with the Mustangs winning 14-6. Of the other thirteen games played today all were won by five or more and seven were won by ten or more. Full Report |

| Tuesday: McQuaid over Penn Yan 8-7 |
| April 27, 2010 - A strong fourth quarter gave McQuaid Jesuit an 8-7 win over Penn Yan. James Sturnick dodged across the middle for the winning goal. In other action HFL defeated Churchville-Chili 9-8, Spencerport beat the Thunder 9-7, Pal-Mac won a 9-8 game with Midlakes and Newark beat Marcus Whitman 7-6. Other winners were Pittsford, Brighton, Thomas, Lightning, Fairport, R-H, Irondequoit, B-H, Aquinas and Bath. Full Report |

| Saturday: Fairport falls to JD 13-11 |
| April 24, 2010 - Previously unbeaten, Fairport lost its's first game of the season to Jamesville-DeWitt (Section III) this afternoon at Onondaga Community College. In other action today, Aquinas beat Webster Thomas, Pittsford beat HFL, Hilton beat Frontier, B-H beat BK and Pal-Mac beat East Rochester. Livonia, Penfield and McQuaid Jesuit has easy wins. | Friday: Canandaigua wins #28 |
| April 23, 2010 - Canandaigua won their twenty-eight game in a row after beating host Penn Yan 9-6 in tonight's only Section Five game today. Full Report |

| Thursday: Brighton, Livonia and Pittsford Win |
| April 22, 2010 - Brighton continued their unbeaten streak (7-0) with a 13-11 win over visiting Hilton. Pittsford scored the first two goals and went on to beat Aquinas 11-7. Livonia beat visiting Rush-Henrietta in a high scoring game, 17-14. Other winners today included Geneva, HFL, and McQuaid Jesuit. Full Report |

| Wednesday: Fairport Wins Another |
| April 21, 2010 - Fairport continued their undefeated season (7-0) with a 15-4 win at Niagara Wheatfield (Section 6). In the only other game today, Irondequoit lost to host Ithaca 14-8. Full Report |

| Tuesday: CA over Schroeder, R-H over C-C |
| April 20, 2010 - Canandaigua continues it's winning streak (27 games) with it's 9-4 win over Schroeder. Rush-Henrietta scored six goals in the first quarter and eight in the last for their 17-9 win over Churchville-Chili. Other winners today included Aquinas over Gates, Victor of Spencerport, Geneva over Waterloo and Thomas over Livonia. Penn Yan though tied in the fourth quarter, lost to Lakeland/Panas (section 1) 8-6. Full Report |

| Saturday: Canandaigua over Corning East |
| April 17, 2010 - Exactly one year ago, the Trojan of Corning East beat Canandaigua, but that was the last game the Braves lost all season and their winning streak, now at 26 has been preserved with their 11-9 win at Evans Field. Penn Yan won a close one with Schroeder (6-5) and Aquinas beat Irondequoit 8-4. Full Report |

| Thursday: Three Games in Double Overtime |
| April 15, 2010 - Sixteen games but three went to double overtime. HF-L beat Schroeder 8-7, Pittsford beat Thomas 13-12 and McQuaid Jesuit beat Livonia 7-6, each in the second overtime period. Penn Yan remained unbeaten with a 15-13 win over West Seneca East (Section 6) and East Rochester beat Spencerport 12-11 while Batavia was a 9-8 winner over Eastridge. Full Report |

| April 13, 2010 - Thirteen games were played in Section Five today. Fairport was a 15-6 winner over visiting Thomas and Pittsford defeated visiting Irondequoit 11-5. In other action Livonia won their game with Bath in overtime, McQuaid Jesuit beat Aquinas 13-8 and Churchville-Chili beat Hilton in a close one (9-7). Full Report |

| April 12, 2010 - Zach Hammond scored an unassisted goal with 2:40 left in the first overtime period to give Bloomfield-Honeoye the win at Midlakes. Full Report |

| April 11, 2010 - It was Aquinas over visiting St. Joseph (Buffalo, Section VI) 19-5 in a rare Sunday game. Full Report |

| April 10, 2010 - It took overtime for the Barons, but Brighton's Nick Wolak scored with 3:23 remaining in overtime to win the battle over visiting Churchville-Chili. Penn Yan played a close one with Section Three's Carthage and won 10-9 and Hilton one a close 6-6 victory over Brockport. Schroeder lost of Hamburg (Section Six) 6-4 and Waterloo, Geneva, McQuaid Jesuit and HFL all won games on Saturday. Full Report |

| April 9, 2010 - The Greece Thunder (Ath//Ody) improved their record to 4-1 with a 21-0 victory of Bishop Kearney while Pal-Mac beat Newark 15-2 in the two games in Section Five today. Full Report |

| April 8, 2010 - There were fourteen games in the section today and more were played under dark or rainy conditions. Webster Schroeder won an 8-6 victory over Churchville-Chili while Fairport stunned Irondequoit (13-4) and Canandaigua beat Penfield (19-6). East Rochester won it's second game (Arc/Oly 8-7) and it was Pittsford over Victor (17-9) while McQuaid beat Bath (14-8). Full Report |

| Tuesday: The Pride and Churchville are OT Winners |
| April 6, 2010 - The newly renamed "Pride" from Bloomfield-Honeoye was an 8-7 winner over traveling Geneva and Churchville-Chili defeated Penfield (13-12), also in overtime. There were fourteen other games in the Section of which many were mismatches. One that was not, however was the Thunder (Ath/Ody) who won a close 8-7 game against East Rochester. Full Report |

| April 3, 2010 - The only close game in the section today was, perhaps, the Thunder's win over Brockport. Elsewhere, Penn Yan took off in the third quarter on their way to a 15-5 win against Livonia. | April 1, 2010 - No joke, there was some exciting play in Section Five today, with Midlakes beating Livonia, East Rochester with their first ever win, Thunder taking out Eastridge and Thomas over Penfield in overtime.
