NYSPHSAA Championships

After each participating section has determined their champions, games are conducted by NYS to crown State Champions in classes A, B and C.

There is a change in the timetable of the State Tournament. In the past the tournament took one week, running on Saturday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Starting in 2011, the format moves to Wednesday, Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday. The change is the result of previous weather delays that forced participants to play back-to-back games. The new format now allows several days between contests.
