| We Lose Bruce Teague, Senior |
| May 12, 2013 - Section Five Lacrosse lost a great supporter and friend today with the passing of life-long lacrosse enthusiast, Bruce R. Teague, Senior. Bruce played lacrosse at Geneva High School, graduating in 1967 and was named to the 1st team All-Upstate lacrosse team in his senior year. He was a team captain in that year and received Geneva's Covert Award. Full Report |

| Saturday: Whitman, Rush-Henrietta and Brighton Win |
| May 11, 2013 - With less than one week left in the regular season there were a dozen games played on Saturday. Marcus Whitman and Rush-Henrietta both won by one goal. Brighton defeated the Greece Lightning, 9-5. Hilton gave Pittsford a scare for a while but the Panthers won 13-9 at the Pittsford Lacrosse Festival. Other winners on Saturday were Wayne, Victor, Waterloo, McQuaid Jesuit, Pal-Mac, Spencerport and Livonia, HF-L. Full Report |

| Friday: Irondequoit and Avon Winners Tonight |
| May 10, 2013 - Aquinas was scheduled to play St. Joe's tonight, but the game was cancelled due to lightning storms in the area. The Hamburg at Penn Yan game was cancelled as well. That game will not be made up. Two games were, however, played. Avon went right to work and took a 6-3 first quarter to a 13-5 over visiting Batavia. The Irondequoit defense and goalie Alex Shoemaker (15s/3ga=83%) held Pal-Mac to three goals as they defeated visiting Pal-Mac 7-3. Full Report |

| Thursday: Penfield Takes Pittsford, Newark and Mynderse Win |
| May 9, 2013 - 16 games were played on another great spring day. Penfield beat Pittsford 7-5 in a key match up, making for exciting possible Class A semifinal games. Newark beat Midlakes by one goal as did Mynderse, who beat Gananda. Livonia defeated Bath 11-8 and Bishop Kearney had to end their game with Aquinas when their goalie took a shot to the head. Other winners today were Gates Chili, Thunder, Geneva, McQuaid Jesuit, Fairport, Lightning (who defeated Spencerport 14-10), Hilton, Thomas, Victor, Irondequoit and Marcus Whitman. Full Report |

| Pittsford Lacrosse Festival on Saturday |
| May 8, 2013 - The Pittsford boys lacrosse team will host Hilton on Saturday at 3:00pm as part of the Pittsford "Lacrosse Festival" sponsored by Pittsford Community Lacrosse. There will be boys and girls games all day as part of the festival. Full Report |

| Cognata Memorial Game a Success |
| May 8, 2013 - Last night at St. John Fisher College the first annual Blake Cognata Memorial Lacrosse game was held. Pittsford Varsity girls played the Victor girls and the Pittsford boys played the Victor boys in a double header that, along with efforts from the Fairport Boys team, helped to raise $18,350. Fairport held their own event in March. The money will be donated to CURE in memory of Blake. Full Report |

| Tuesday: Wayne, Spencerport and Eastridge Win by One Goal |
| May 7, 2013 - There were lots of games on a beautiful Tuesday and a couple of close ones. Eastridge beat Brockport in overtime, Wayne beat Newark 6-5 and Spencerport scored the last three goals and beat the Greece Thunder in the last minute of the game (15-14). Hilton won a 5-3 victory from Gates Chili. Other winner today were Midlakes, Penfield, Canandaigua, Fairport, Waterloo, Aquinas, McQuaid Jesuit, Penn Yan, Gananda, Mynderse and Pittsford. Two players reached their one hundredth career goals today, Aaron Peterman from Mynderse and Tim Wright from Waterloo. Full Report |

| Monday: Lightning, Gananda and Geneva Win Today |
| May 6, 2013 - With only a coupe of weeks left in the regular season, makeup games are scheduled whenever they can be played. Three games were played today. The Lightning beat their cross-town rivals 10-9. Gananda improved their record to 10-3 with a win over Newark and Geneva improved their record to 12-1 when they defeated Pal-Mac. Full Report |

| Saturday: Thomas over PY - Spencerport over Brighton |
| May 4, 2013 - A goal scored in the second quarter made the difference as Webster Thomas beat visiting Penn Yan 6-5 this afternoon. Spencerport beat Brighton by a goal as well. Wayne scored six unanswered goals to overcome a 5-2 deficit and beat Marcus Whitman 8-6. Midlakes scored eight in a row and beat Bloomfield-Honeoye 10-6. Other winners included Waterloo, Pal-Mac, McQuaid, Victor, Geneva, HF-L and Spencerport. Full Report |

| Friday: Bath Takes Avon |
| May 3, 2013 - Bath scored five goals in the first quarter and eight in the second on their way to a 19-12 victory over Avon on Friday afternoon. Mitch Fuller scored 3g-3a and Bruce Rinker added 5g for the Rams. Avon's Ryan Doubt (4g) and James Appleton (5g-1) led the offense for the Braves. Full Report |

| May 2, 2013 - Unlike may of the game days of late, there were some very exciting games and scores today as 15 games were played. Mynderse beat Wayne 5-4, Fairport overcame a 3-1 deficit to beat Penn Yan 7-5 and Midlakes defeated Marcus Whitman 9-8. Irondequoit held off a 4th quarter charge by R-H and won 17-14. Livonia had a close won and beat Aquinas 11-9 in GRALL action. The Greece Lightning defeated HF-L, 9-6 tonight. Other winners were Penfield, Pal-Mac, Eastridge, Brockport, Canandaigua, Hilton and Geneva. Full Report |
